These terms cover your use of the Truck & Trolley website and the booking process that follows a quote. Read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy.
Acceptance
By using our quote form or booking a move with us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't proceed with a booking — contact us instead and we'll help however we can.
Our service
Truck & Trolley provides a low-cost, no-frills moving service: two movers, a truck, a trolley, and moving blankets. We move Sydney-local jobs, point-to-point — one pickup address to one drop-off address (plus any additional stops you've told us about).
Estimate vs. price
The estimate you see at /quote is an honest range based on the
details you give us — it's not a fixed-price quote. What you're
actually charged is time worked on the day, multiplied by our hourly
rate, plus a call-out fee and GST. See our
Cancellation Policy for how deposits and
refunds work.
Completing your booking
When you continue from the estimate step, you're taken to our secure booking page to finish up. Our terms and conditions are presented there, your digital signature is captured, and the 10% deposit is taken. Those are the terms that govern your move — read them alongside our Cancellation Policy and Damage and Liability Policy.
Your responsibilities
To keep your move running smoothly, please make sure:
- The details you give us about what's moving are accurate.
- Access at both the pickup and drop-off addresses is safe and clear (stairs, lifts, parking restrictions — let us know upfront).
- Someone is present at both ends of the move on the day.
Limits and exclusions
Some items and job types are outside what we can safely move with our current setup, and we'll flag these during the quote process rather than on the day: grand pianos, balcony lifts, hazardous materials, interstate moves, and cash, jewellery, or important documents (please transport these yourself). Heavy items you do disclose are routed to manual review so we can plan the crew and equipment properly.
